Band 30 Seconds to Mars, a gig in Jakarta on July 22, 2011 in Java Rockin 'Land in 2011, canceled their performances as the primary viewer Pukkelpop Festival in 2011, near Hasselt, Belgium on Thursday (18/08/2011) local time, after three fans music killed in the festival because of a stage collapsed on the same afternoon.
Stage called The Chateu collapsed when the U.S. rock group, The Smith westerns, is scheduled to appear in the afternoon in a three-day festival. Reported, allegedly because the stage collapsed masts buffer hit by a fallen tree to the root due to rain storm.
Jared Leto, 30 Seconds to Mars vocalist, rock band from the U.S., which is scheduled to appear on Friday (08/19/2011) night local time, soon spread information about the incident to the fans via Twitter account. He also cautioned the audience of the festival of bad weather.
"Four stages down - still raining thunder if you are here please be safe ... Serious injuries at the festival. More bad weather poss (possibly) heading this way. Please take care and caution," she wrote on Twitter.
Soon, Leto and his fellow segrupnya decided not to perform in honor of the victims.
"Our thoughts and deepest sympathies to the families and friends of WHO Those Lost Their lives today at the show in Belgium. We are absolutely devastated That this celebration ended in tragedy. To Those That We Are injured were the resource persons sending thoughts and prayers," he wrote on the band's official website.
"Obviously under these horrible and dangerous circumstances, and out of respect for Those WHO have passed, Thirty Seconds to Mars will not be playing. We love you all and hope tomorrow Brings a better day," he wrote again."kompas.com"
